Ikonus Bolokai T. T. The Mad Fishicist

Thirty two big ones coming around for the founding member of the BLB. You can always be counted on to make abbreviations and to be friendly with the fishes. Though I missed posting on your actual birthday, you were thought of and remembered.

Dirty Doo

Now get yass up here and pick me up!

Happy Birthday MK.

32 plus 2

It was just over thirty two years ago, that cold morning when your mother and father and I welcomed this new life into the world. This small, sickly person who would one day grow into a state champ wrestler and aspiring US Marine. Who knew you'd survive even those first few days? As I've watched you blossom into a man, I can think of only one thing to say, "I'm proud of you, guy. Let me know if those APD guys give you any hack."

10 Years

I know I'm a few days late on this, but not only do I have to take a moment to wish my man MLS a happy birthday, but also his 10 year wedding anniversary was a couple of weeks ago. He was the first of any of us to get married. Here's to you Mike and Sandy!

Worst Song EVER

CNNDOTCOM has a worst song ever article, so I thought I'd vote.

1. Offspring-Come Out and Play
"The kids are strappin' on their way to the classroom / Getting weapons with the greatest of ease..." What doesn't make sense is that this is apparently an anti-school violence song, not a beer bong, date rape, gay joke song. Apologies to every Fraternity that used this as the audio track on their Class of whatever video montage.

(You've Got To Keep Them Separated)

2. Train-Drops of Jupiter
In and of itself, not a horrible song. But that "best soy latte" line blasts it into shameful infamy.

3. Bowling for Soup-1985
Forget that much of U2 and Madonna's success came in the NINETIES (The Joshua Tree was released in 1987), and that all of Blondie's hit singles were released before 1982. I just can't stand that whiny, faux punk voice.

My entries are good songs by good artists, but exploited by advertising, radio play or other means.

4. Bruce Springsteen - Secret Garden

5. Phantom Planet - California

6. Oasis - All Around the World

7. Howie Day - Collide

Maybe you could find pictures, MK.

Anxiously awaiting feedback from Noveau Riche, The Chindo, JNard, and our genius brother in Ithaca. Please feel free to submit ideas even if you're not on this list.
